How to Make Tummy Time More Enjoyable and Fun

While your baby should always sleep on their back for safety, your baby also needs “tummy time” daily, beginning at birth. Initially, laying your little one on their tummy helps strengthen their muscles and motor skills. This includes raising their head, rolling over, and eventually sitting up. But that’s not all. Tummy time has many benefits, including your little one’s brain development.

With all of these great positives, what makes it challenging? Unfortunately, tummy time is not favored by all babies. It requires them to do work to stretch and strengthen their muscles. Many babies fuss during the activity, which can be unpleasant for them and their parents. It’s important to do tummy time daily for your baby, so we are sharing all of our tips to make tummy time more enjoyable and fun for you and your little one!
